Just some pure fun today, guys, with one of my favorite all-time Planet Earth clips. Sharks may be the ubiquitous ocean predators, but don’t count out the giant trevally (Caranx ignobilis) when it comes to voracious feats. Like, you know, plucking (pun intended) seabirds out of the sky. As world-treasure Sir David Attenborough puts it “there is a fish here that, amazingly, has a brain capable of calculating the air speed, altitude, and trajectory of a bird”. Pretty good for a dopey-looking kind of fish.
